After many months of pandemic-related lockdowns and cancellations, our transnational meeting finally took place in Ghent, Belgium on September 23rd and 24th. It was wonderful to finally meet partners in person, even though many were not able to travel (they participated through Zoom).
It was a very busy and productive get-together, and being in the same room physically allowed many things to develop quickly. Many key decisions were made about the project and its activities including the creation of an inspirational guide for teachers on adaptive expertise (AE), populating a digital learning platform with adaptive expertise (AE) tools, tips, and techniques, and organising conferences to disseminate the information.
Those of us who came to Ghent were able to enjoy a cultural river and walking tour, which gave us a deeper appreciation of the history and beauty of this Flemish city. We capped off this successful trip with a delicious dinner in a traditional Flemish restaurant.
